I’ve always been a fan creating digital vision boards because it allows me to visualize my own personalized goals and try to make them reality. In the past collecting magazines, cutting out images and headlines, then gluing them all to a poster board was the way to go. However, I think I have found an easier way where you can update as often as you like and take it anywhere you go!
There is no denying the digital wave has taken over and made things so easy. Because of the ease, my new favorite way of creating vision boards has been developing them digitally. No more scissors, glue, or illegible handwriting. Instead, thousands of resources on “The Google” to interchange and update as much as you like and the best part? Screenshot right onto your phone and take it everywhere you go.
I spend a lot of time on my computer and phone and find this way is so much easier. I can pull it up as a constant and quick reminder/inspiration when needed.
If you are ready to try going digitally, below are a few tips you can use. Im also sharing program tools I have used for my own personal digital board for 2022.
Step 1
- Get specific about the goal you are trying to achieve. Look back at last year and think is there anything you would change? Is there something you would like to improve on? Maybe keep track of a personal goal you want to hit or a work profession? What are the steps to achieve said goal? Ensure your goal has measure and is tangible so they can be broken down in small chunks and be ready when opportunity rears its head!
Step 2
- Image Searching. If you are creating a personal board, you can either take your own photos or find images that inspire and represent what you are trying to achieve. That could be an image of a white sandy beach you would like to visit, a couch you’ve been eyeing for a while that you need to have, or a personal goal of reading more that you would like to hit by the end of the first quarter. The Google has it all. Get your fingers to typing.
Step 3
- Create! This is the fun part. Ive used Canva to create mine which is pretty intuitive and easy. There are other websites like Pic Monkey, PicStitch, or even Pinterest that allows you to create your personal collage as well. If you are more of an app user, MindMovies and Visuapp are both compatible with Apple and Android users.
There are no rules to curating as the process is all based on your own personal dreams and goals that will ultimately inspire you daily. Today is a great day to start envisioning and manifesting those goals – find your inspiration anywhere. Take things off, re-imagine, add back in and be open to alterations.
Will you try to vision board (digitally)? If so, I would love to hear more about your experience, so let me know in the comments.
Have fun and Happy New Year!

I absolutely love this idea! I’m planning to create my vision board in Canva this year now. I love the idea of having my vision as my screen saver as well! Thanks!!
