National Cocktail Day – Strawberry Sangria

Strawberry Sangria

Spring is officially here and you know what that means…refreshing cocktails are on deck.  Sangria is one of my favorite drinks and I have been fortunate to have tasted many variations over the years.  To kick off the start of Spring, Im introducing one of my “All-Star” drinks which is perfect for a boozy brunch, bridal shower, or pool party.

A super simple cocktail with only a few fresh ingredients, this delicious drink will be an awesome add-on to any party and appetizer for your gathering.

Tips

This drink can be served immediately or stored in the refrigerator until ready. My suggestion would be to add ice to individual cups instead of the pitcher. Adding ice to the pitcher will water the cocktail down. Lastly, If you like your drink on the sweeter side, add 1-2 more tablespoons of sugar. NOTE: Honey or agave works too! Most often question I get is, can this drink be made in advance? My advice would be no as you’ll lose the carbonation of the Prosecco if it sits too long. If this drink is being made for a large party and you would like to prepare ahead of time, feel free to add the other ingredients in and pour the bubbly in right before serving.

Ingredients

  • (1) lemon (sliced)
  • (3) tablespoons of sugar
  • (1) cup of strawberries (sliced and de-stemmed)
  • (1) 750-ml bottle of Prosecco

Directions

First, add slices of lemon to the pitcher. Sprinkle sugar on the top and mash lemon to release some of the juice. Throw in the sliced strawberries and mash them in as well. Fill up the pitcher with the Prosecco and stir. Grab some glasses, add ice, serve immediately, and ENJOY!

It’s the sigh for me😮‍💨😂 No, but for real. I did It’s the sigh for me😮‍💨😂

No, but for real. I did this about 6 months ago and finally sat down to look at the numbers… and let’s just say, they told a very honest story.

Because while it may look like fun and games on the outside, the back end will always show you what’s actually working (and what’s not 😅).

Here’s what stood out:
1. Consistency really is key, cliché or not. Every post adds to your digital footprint, whether it “pops” or not.

2. Strategy matters more than people admit. Knowing who you’re talking to (and why) changes everything.

3. Burnout is real. Not every season is meant to be max output — and I’ve learned to respect that.

4. And the algorithm? It’s going to do what it does… YOU might as well stay true to what YOU do.

I’m still learning, still refining, but definitely moving with more clarity. Quiet growth looks different but it’s still growth, right?

Who else has had a “the numbers don’t lie” moment? 👀
