Top Drugstore Beauty Brands and why I love them!

Generic Beauty Products

Who says you need to splurge on luxury beauty products to achieve a flawless look? Drugstore beauty brands have stepped up their game, offering high-quality formulas that rival high-end products—all at a fraction of the price. Here are five budget-friendly beauty brands that deliver luxury-level results and why I love them!

Black Girl Makeup List

1. e.l.f. Cosmetics – Affordable & High-Performance

e.l.f. has become a fan favorite for its premium-quality makeup at unbeatable prices. First up, is the Power Grip Primer. This is often compared to high-end primers like Milk Hydro Grip, while their Halo Glow Liquid Filter gives a radiant finish similar to Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter. Plus, e.l.f. is cruelty-free! My two favorite products of all time are the Wow Tinted Brow Gel and Monochromatic Multi Stick. The brow gel tames unruly eyebrows and the multi stick can be used on cheeks, lips, or eyelids!

2. Milani – Luxe Packaging, Professional Results

Milani’s products look and perform like high-end makeup without the hefty price tag. The Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation provides full coverage with a smooth, skin-like finish, and their Baked Blush in Luminoso is a dupe for NARS’ famous Orgasm blush. I have been a fan of ANYTHING from their lip line. My favorite is the Amore Satin Matte Lip Creme in shade Plush and Stay Put Liquid Longwear Lipstick in the color Red Flag.

3. NYX Professional Makeup – Pro-Level Quality

NYX is a go-to for makeup artists and beauty lovers alike. My number one product that I have MULTIPLES of is their Butter Gloss. NYX’s Butter Gloss gives a high-shine, non-sticky finish that rivals Fenty Beauty’s glosses, and their Micro Brow Pencil is a perfect alternative to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz.

4. L’Oréal Paris – Luxury Beauty Without the Price Tag

With decades of expertise, L’Oréal offers high-quality formulas at an affordable price. One of my favorites when I am in a pinch is the Infallible 32HR Fresh Wear Foundation which delivers long-lasting, breathable coverage, and the Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara is a near-perfect dupe for Too Faced’s Better Than Sex mascara. Thank me later.

5. Maybelline – Iconic & Reliable

Maybelline is a drugstore staple with high-end results. Their Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation works wonders for oily skin, while their Lifter Gloss with hyaluronic acid rivals high-end lip glosses for hydration and shine. I have been raving about this lifter gloss for months. My favorite shades for my skin tone are Stone, Petal, and Rust.

Looking glamorous doesn’t have to break the bank—these drugstore brands prove that luxury results can come at a budget-friendly price!
