Do you have a favorite cocktail that you can’t seem to shake? One where every time you taste, it immediately sends you to that “perfect place” no matter what’s going on around you? I do! This rum punch recipe is my ultimate favorite cocktail that generally makes an appears during the season of Summer. Summer vibes with just one sip! Read on to get the recipe and try for yourself – its worth it!
This Rum Punch recipe is so easy to make it calls for dumping all the ingredients in one pitcher, stir, grab a cup with ice, and pour. Even though I like to drink it mainly in the summer, its great all year round. A great add on to any brunch, beach day, or BBQ! Word of caution though, this drink does have a PUNCH if you get my drift. With three different types of rum, it can be strong for most. One suggestion is to lessen the servings of the rum and/or use more pineapple juice for a smoother taste.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups of pineapple juice
- 2 1/2 cups of orange juice
- 1 cup of dark rum (ex. Bacardi)
- 1/2 cup dark rum (ex. Meyer’s)
- 1/2 cup coconut – flavored rum (ex. Malibu)
- 1/4 cup of fresh lime juice
- 3 tablespoons grenadine syrup
- (Optional: Slice pineapples, organes, limes, and lemons for a fruity punch bowl garnish)
